Chapter 13 Interior Design

Work not finished 11 months after start of renovation. Not qualified workers who do a very poor job at the standard of the countries they are from. The workers cannot speak English, are not trained and there is no supervision from the ID (our ID juggled with 9 clients while one of his colleagues juggled with 16). No way they can do a good job if they do not monitor the work. They polished the parquet then spoiled it, they scratched our furnitures and did not bother covering them properly. These people simply do not care and just want your money. As of now, some bulbs flicker, some powerpoints are loose while we paid for a complete renovation, the parquet in the master bedroom has not be fixed as asked. It seems there is also a leakage in the common bathroom that had been renovated completely. They removed a cornice and we had to beg for them to plaster a bit as they just put a false ceiling without caring if where the cornice was, it is not smooth and pretty. They are contractors charging ID fees. Our quotstion did mot include the electrician fees and all the lights, leds, cables so beware on add-ons. Lack of respect for customers, not wearing masks during Covid… Worst company ever!

Throughout the whole renovation process with Chapter 13, our designer Melvin is always going the extra mile in ensuring the renovation process was smooth. He is also open to changes we proposed, (even last minute) on material selection. He is always available whenever to answer our questions and queries no matter the time of the day.

As there is a recent rise in renovation scams in Singapore, I am glad that I no longer have these doubts and skeptical feelings after meeting up with Melvin and visiting their gorgeous showroom office. I would strongly recommend Melvin from Chapter 13.
