Defects Checks was founded in 2016. The high cost of property in Singapore typically makes any defect rectification work exceptionally expensive after the home warranty period is over. The team saw an increasing need for a professional defects checking service and decided to embark on this venture.

Fast forward to today, our team grown to 7 full time staff. Defects Checks Private Limitedis  involved in almost every newly TOP-ed property in Singapore and have collectively inspected hundreds of units as defects auditors. We are proud to have been offered work with clients of all types (retail homeowners, developers and contractors) and will continue to strive towards providing the best service in this field.

“I just had my new house inspected by Darryl and I am very impress with his service. Initially I though how difficult could it be to inspect your own home? Looking at how their team checks and inspected, it was a very long, tedious and sweaty process. The amount of defects spotted was insane and we couldn’t have detected them with our naked eyes. The defects are marked out with post-its and my house looked like a Christmas tree! They even explained to us why rectification is required for certain issues and assisted to write the defects list into the form BSC provided. Darryl arranged for the meet up with the BSC told them what was required. I recommend new owners to consider such services if their budget permits… $400 is a real good deal looking at how many defects them spotted and assisted to get it rectified in the whole process.”
