Basically its the same old story where they promise you the sky but end up in **** kind of service.

so what tripped me off was the so called warranty which they promise that they will resolve…eventually.

So the contractor gave 2 years warranty on his workmanship which was not bad but having experienced the progress of work i was worried about his response time and my condition to release the final payment was for him to commit the response time for his side to resolve the defects and he promised 2 weeks.

now fast forward 1 year, we were experiencing problems on and off and to be fair, some times the response was within expectations. however my most recent problem that cropped up it took them almost 1.5months to respond and when i say respond i mean just replying whatsapp to arrange a day for them to come down and do the repair..they will keep pushing off by saying “ok will arrange” and subsequently no response and if you ask for updates, they give the same reply. until i was fed up and approach the boss – Foo Lai Yong. this is where you see their true colors and that you are at their mercy. when i question him about the promise to resolve the problems within 2 weeks, he say that the 2 weeks was a guide and not absolute..so i asked him how far can this “guide” stretch and his reply was that he have explained his difficulties (manpower issue) and if i dont accept it, there is nothing he can do!! seriously speaking though, there are so many options that they can do, get a subcon, i get someone else to do and backcharge him and still not voiding my warranty etc..honestly, when the boss reply you like that, you know its a loss cause..because they dont value you as a customer at all. but in the end, the problem was adjourned by his assurance that they will do it asap and the tentative date is tuesday to be reconfirmed.

so eventually his employee arranged Wednesday which was fine by me and 1 day before, they inform you the same thing – manpower issue..their workers tied up in some other jobs so have to reschedule to Saturday. So i went back to the boss again, whatsapp him no reply..even though he was online, he refuse to see my msg..so i had to remind him to see the msg everytime i see him online but to no avail. Sent email and text msg to him, he dont have the decency to reply, always getting his poor subordinate to face me instead but his subordinate cannot even make decision and decide the workers’ schedule.

so i am still waiting for saturday to arrive to see what can happen next

p.s. at least you sometimes get to see a nice Ferrari..driven by the boss
