Designer Name/ Project Coordinator
Adeline Ng / Ken Goo
This is a long overdue testimonial for FID. After 6 other eager IDs emailed me their interest to do the overall makeover of my partially handicapped sister’s resale 3-room corner HDB, I thank God that on final click, out pop the logo “FID” with a red cross above the i. I was initially hesitant when I saw the address like a little upmarket, anyway I thought “they don’t know me, I don’t see them, I just try to email my plans and see if they are willing to reply”. The rest is history. I am very glad to meet Adeline Ng, my ID, young and new to FID, but she carries a strong desire to help me fulfill all of my plans and within a given budget (that’s most important). We met a couple of times in her office and on site and also outside her office hours. Spent quite an amount of time together going through selection of tiles too. Do not doubt her youthfulness or being a new staff at FID, her actions carried weight. I like that she didn’t need to work alone, there is Ken Goo, being the Project Coordinator, make a great team! Bravo!
They are always there for me and for their contractors. They are not pushy hor! Kept me posted from start to end which gave me the peace of mind to concentrate on helping my sister and aged mother to pack and prepare for the house removal. Sometimes I felt so paiseh to keep texting them about certain stuffs and problems I faced.
The highlight of this whole project was together they turned an old, dirty, totally original 36 years old unit to a bright, cheery, peaceful haven for the new occupiers. It was such a drastic makeover and within my budget, I couldn’t ask for more. Adeline is very understanding, reliable and empathetic and gave good tips. Ken is energetic, fast, good adviser and reliable. Both of them work very closely with their contractors to get the whole project ready within a short span of 4 weeks which was near impossible but they did it! Kudos to them! And mind you, the workmanship is top-notch even though need to rush. Although the new occupiers have to move in with a little inconvenience due to some parts not ready, but that’s not the major issue, at least the new occupiers do not need to sleep on the street (so to say) as they were refused by their buyer to occupy their former place for another week. In summary, I learn that not all new or young IDs cannot deliver or lack experience, give them a chance and you see someone like Adeline delivers well and fine and we become such good friends. Also must have faith in FID because they stand firmly and faithfully on their 7 reasons why we must choose FID as your interior renovator.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart to you, Adeline and Ken.
I am sure my aged mother and sister will likewise also like to thank you for your hard work and sincerity in making this new place which they call their home.
