No star should be given at all

After sales service is very bad, Staff who attended to me is Sunny. He got the order wrong and yet could not resolve it after more than a month. He also remain uncontactable and unresponsive for extended period of time. Avoid this sales personnel at all cost.

Great workmanship and service. Compared to others I hv used in the past, their furniture quality is really good. I found out they are formaldehyde-free. And this means, I smell at all! From the day of installation so one can sleep well.

Greta carpentry work. The guys are very detailed, precise and more importantly neat so that you don’t have bits of silicone or wood sticking out that will mar your enjoyment of your home (doesn’t it irk you if just that one bit is out of place). I guess it’s for OCD people and the money is well spent as my cabinetry was completed ahead of schedule, the team cleaned up the place before leaving and they were responsive and receptive to making and suggesting changes that make sense for a more comfortable home.

Extremely disappointed with Picket & Rail after sales services. No update on the revised mid July 2023 delivery date. No response from the Salesperson (Sunxx) to my several WhatsApp inquiries as he simply ignored them I tried to call the company through the contact number “88964692” appears in the website -> only ended up with the voicemail “the current service is not available”!
I hope my bad experience with Picket & Rail will end soon 🔜. Hopefully I’m the only unlucky one who did not receive the goods on time @ Picket & Rail !

We would like to express our thanks to Mr Suri & his 2 man team for helping us to install our new wardrobe for our master bedroom on 5 Dec 2022 within 1 day. He had reconfirm with us on our requirements before installations and was careful with our existing furniture in the room and has limited workspace, He & his team did a great job. We were also very impressed with Mr Siong whom we had bought the wordrobe from as he has a lot of profressionalism and patience to follow up with us on any enquiries that we had. Keep it up!

Do really consider getting their Kitchen promo package. If have to stretch your budget slightly then is totally not worth it but agonising.
Finished product is different from advistised. After sales is bad. ULTIMATE BAD.

Fantastic Job. They were realistic about things. No bullshit stuff. I like it that way. Singaporeans are tough to please. They are not cheap but the quality is there. Not for cheapskates.

Customer service is terrible. We are looking at promotion bundle for the kids furniture and dropped WhatsApp to their office number, per their website recommendation. The questions include important questions like whether the furniture has child safe features and is there a way we can view (perhaps even if can’t see physically, do via video call) so that we can see that it is indeed easy to use when we carry baby. The customer service do not seem keen to sell and we had to probe for answers to our questions. To be honest, we were very keen to purchase but now we lost all interest. Not sure if the customer service after that will be terrible too. By the way, the promotion bundle is also not extremely cheap, it still calculates to $1.5K

When my wife and i purchased our wallpaper from them earlier this year at marina square branch, we dealt with one of the sales man and we purchased two rolls of wallpaper to be install at our new bto flat.

We paid 50% of the invoice to allow upcoming works to proceed and both parties have agreed on paying balance 50% upon completion on the same day.

As wallpaper is installed on the last after all reno, we have reached this stage of getting them to install.

As we called to arrange, we realized previous sales person has left the company and another is serving us.

Anyway, down to the point. Now they insist us on paying 100% before they start work. Sales man was explaining how company has the rights to protect themselves, when you buy things from mall all pay upfront full. I told him we can pay upfront full for any and receive it immediate. Now they will only start work once we make full payment, or rather, do only 1 roll as we have paid for 50%.

They did not honour from their initial dealings.

We are very willing to pay once job is done well and satisfied – not being forced blindly to pay without seeing anything. Main thing was they could change dealings like this as they like.

I hope the above can serve others well as a good reminder that before making deposits, company can change their policy anytime and disregard and any commitment previously.

I would consider myself rather unfortunate in buying tables and chairs from Picket & Rail. Therefore I am writing this post to warn others not to repeat the same mistake as I did.
I bought my whole dining set – table and chairs from them. I also bought a hatch chair, lounge chair and 5 fibreglass chairs from them. Their furniture wasn’t cheap and from their brochure they claim they made quality replicas from designer range at factory prices – I’d say these are rather low quality replicas.
After I paid quite a substantial amount of money, I am made to wait 2 to 3 months for their factory to “custom make”. When the delivery date is due, they deliver poor quality items – one of my fibreglass chairs has glue at a prominent spot and cannot be scrubbed off. Two of my dining chairs had poor stitching for the leather cushions and they brought the wrong wooden frame plus nails for my dining table so they couldn’t assemble it. Very poor coordination effort!
In the end, I waited for more than one month for them to replace my chairs. And I had to keep chasing their delivery department because it seemed they had forgotten about me. And mind you, their customer line is not easy to get through.
The worst deal is the fibreglass chairs which I have bought for my study. The chairs are as heavy as a rock and the fibreglass chipped off easily. If you are not careful, the spray paint comes off easily. I don’t think you can get rid of stains easily without affecting it’s paintwork. For a chair which costs $390, it’s definitely not worthy of its price. You can take a look at the photos below to see the scratches. And I hardly sat on them.
There are much cheaper replicas of such chairs around at other furniture shops such as fortytwo.sg and you can get them at fraction of $390. The material is also lighter and scratch proof.
So you can decide where you want to spend your money.
