My renovation experience wasn’t anything like their customers’ positive reviews (in their Facebook) at all. Perhaps only friends of Ted or referrals were taken more seriously. Anyway, I realized later that those positive reviews were outdated.

Value for money [1]
An agreed refund for some over-charges & post-renovation warranty were not honoured. Need to incur additional expenses to fix works not completed/not done well earlier &/or any defects that may surface.

Workmanship [2]
My kitchen drawer width shrank by 7cm, open shelf was a bit slanted, wardrobe door a bit faulty, wardrobe laminate not done well, visible multiple holes in kitchen cabinet due to drilling mistakes, etc.

Service [1]
Pay to wait. Priority always goes to other projects & timeline was not taken seriously. Everything was managed remotely & there was no site inspection or proper handover. I had to do all the checking myself even though I’m not trained in their field. Ted was rather polite at the beginning but was unapologetic for service lapse, no discount for delays & dare to cut off communication completely when he was the one in the wrong.

I could only say some of his workers had better attitude.

Ted was recommended to me by my friend. Had heard many stories of irresponsible IDs not doing a good job so was sceptical about engaging one. However Ted proved us wrong. He provided us many useful and creative ideas in designing our home. Workmanship is also good and very efficient services. Me and my wife will definitely engage his services again and recommend him to our friends.
