Met up with ID Michael from Casa Designs . Did a few comparison among a few ID before short listing casa designs . My Jumbo Resale was done up nicely with a slight delay , Very professional ID and Service was excellent ,

Came across CASA via FB. Had sent query and response was one week later. Did not have high expectation initially as it was only checking and comparison with other ID. But after met up CASA, with his good communication skills and promising, I shortlist CASA because he guarantee that works can be carried out anytime and completed before CNY. Had request for quotation and this is the time when disappointment starts. Quotation did not receive which he mentioned it will be given on same day after he back to office. He request for deposits from me first when i called him one day later for his so late quotation. A Big question : So how much will deposits is if you do not even know the full cost in the first place? And because I had clearly stated I have to go for Bank Loan that’s why i need to have quotation to apply and this may takes day for approval. Horribly, he ask for my IC so that he can apply for me and confirm faster……..huh??!! Got such thing….??!!
Regret to say, up till date, i still have not receive his quotation from the day i had met on 12Jan. Even though he kept saying he had emailed to me again follow by whats app copy but still………. no shadow of it.

Casa is horrible. Quick to demand money but practically slow in work. Contractor always not on time. Lots of promises in the beginning but end up not fulfilled. Frustrating and stressful experience. Not recommended. Pls avoid this contractor.

I chose Casa as it was recommended by friends and relatives. Initially, I was hopeful that things will turn out well. Through the renovation process, I would give Casa credit as they showed that they were flexible to changes during the renovation process after my wife and I decided on minor changes to the proposed design. However, the renovation process could certainly be improved. I felt they should have recorded down our design preferences when we met with our ID, because this later led to a bit of confusion when it came to the actual renovation. At times, we had to repeat what we wanted to the contractor directly, so it was not as pleasant and smooth as we would have liked. What was more stressful for us was that we felt we had to press Casa to get the works done. It felt as though having received payment the urgency and initiative to complete the project went missing. As such, I would not recommend Casa to my friends.

Design
Most of the designs came from us and the ID did not propose anything significant to the final design.

Workmanship
Materials were fine.

Service
Service was disappointing and we had to chase them to get the works completed.

Value for Money
The poor service meant that it was not value for money.
