KC Carpenter

KC Carpenters was strongly recommended by our cousin as her house was recently renovated and it was well done.

Our project manager/designer, Darren Chng, was very helpful throughout the whole process and made sure that everything was going smoothly. Darren has been very accommodating to our requests and post-renovation follow up was fantastic as well.

It has been a wonderful experience working with KC Carpenters and we will continue to recommend their service to our neighbours and friends.

I know it would be nice to get a quick job done to the home but haste makes waste they say. So if you are looking for quality workmanship and are open to great suggestions from your renovation service provider, I would strongly recommend KC Carpenter. They did a good job at listening to what we wanted/needed and taking that into consideration, made good suggestions to meet them. They LISTENED to what the customer want and SUGGESTED based on what they feel (pre-empt) the customer would need. And that’s a skill I think is severely lacking in many service providers today. They did a fantastic job for our place and we think great work should be acknowledged.

By now, I know you would be asking how much did we spend in total on the renovation. This renovation inclusive of the flooring done by Supreme Floors, chalked up to less than $13k for the whole house. Prices would vary according to your chosen materials and size of your unit. Ultimately, the decision lies with how comfortable you feel working with a particular company for your home. Individual perceptions, personalities and expectations play a major role in the working relationship with your contractors. Be understanding (because they have other clients too and issues may arise) but be clear and firm with what you want for your home.

We engaged them for our resale flat 2 yrs ago, can share my exp for your reference.

We got them to do redo our 2 toilets and kitchen, changing the tiles, sanitary items and kitchen cabinets. Those were the few areas we were quite uncomfortable w taking over from the prev owner.

The whole reno process went quite smoothly and they managed to handover well before the dateline as I had quite abit of time to move in. One area we find very commendable abt them is that, they were very patient during discussions and provided alot of great advice on how we could design our place and still work within our budget. Nevertheless, there were some minor hiccups but they were very responsive and were there to sort out the issues for us.

Regarding workmanship, I would say that they met our expectations and already 2 years down, our cabinets still works good as new. And I am very glad I opted for the quartz top recommended by them. We were thinking to go for solid surface, considering it is lower in cost. However, they advised that quartz has better stain and scratch resistance, which true enough, our kitchen top is still in perfect condition today.

Overall, my exp with KC Carpenter was definitely a good one. Have already recommended several of my friends to them, and they also had the same good exp.
