A very experienced and trustworthy guy, Wilson and his subordinates were very professional and reliable. Wilson can relate to what we want and sketch it on the spot for us to view. He is being honest too if he find things are abit costly or not necessary for our budget. He replied each time we questioned him on whatsapp.
The main thing for us is the quality of work and products are worth the money. Its affordable yet lasts bcos I was recommended by my sister and her kitchen was done by Wilson and his men 2 yrs ago. Her kitchen is still in good condition and she claimed that he is the most cheapest among the contractors that my sister ask to quote.
Overall i am a verysatisfied customer with Wilson and his men.

would like to personally recommend Wilson Yam from Posh Stone for his professional work. Recently, we engaged his services for a 4room resale renovation work of kitchen and toilets. He kept us updated with the renovation progress and most importantly we are able to trust him for his professional experience and worksmanship.

Although the renovation is still ongoing, Wilson does not over promise but takes pride in overdelivering his services, leading to a very comfortable relationship between us. The materials that he used are of top quality and value for money. He definitely exceeded our expectations on all fronts.

Hi all! I’ll just like to share our pleasant experience so far with our contractor, Wilson (from Poshstone), and hope that many others can benefit from this. We are not related to him or his company and will not get any benefits as we are almost done with the reno.

Thanks to the group’s suggestions, my husband and I managed to engage his services for our 4 room resale flat.

After meeting with a number of contractors and IDs, we felt very safe with him as he was not pushy at all and gave us ample time to consider (I think we almost took half a year before confirming him :x). He is also honest about the things that he can or cannot do, and the possible problems that may occur with our choices.

As a newbie in reno (it’s our first house), it was very helpful that he is willing to teach and share his experiences. He entertained our numerous questions over whatsapp, sometimes even when we send them late at night. For example, he explained about the differences in materials and the reasons for possible imperfections to manage our expectations. Definitely not just a yes man and he never over promises. He actually dissuaded us from doing certain things that we suggested which he thinks is unnecessary or not cost effective.

He is very flexible and agreed to our requests for fixing our accessories for the house that we bought on our own without any additional costs. Due to our friendly relationship, he actually paid the extra cost price for a better kitchen sink when our relatively affordable choice went out of stock. 😊
He offered to bring bulky samples of doors and laminates to my house in pasir ris from his office at woodlands even though we offered to meet him nearer to his place. He provided frequent updates during the process without us asking and is easily available when meet ups are necessary.

His Carpenter ah hoy is a honest man as well and did a thorough inspection of our wardrobes and cabinets. He would patiently explain why some things are recommended for change and would suggest us to keep those that are still of good quality.

The electrician that he helped us engage was also very responsive and willing to share. As the lightings are a little expensive in Singapore, we actually bought all our lights at JB starworld. He was agreeable and very happy to guide us with our purchases.
And thankfully, he checked our aircon during our first meet up despite it not being part of his quote. If not for that, we would have only realised that all our concealed aircon pipes have rusted and leaks whenever the aircon is turned on. It would have been a disaster if we only realised after moving in as that means our wardrobes have to be hacked away.

He takes a reasonable amount of deposit only after finishing up a significant portion of the work. Therefore, we never felt like we might end up with a reno scam.

Initially, as introverts, we did find him v talkative and opinionated. But during this process, we realised that he just wants to do a honest business and maintain good relationships.

We were very glad our Reno was a smooth journey so far and hope others can benefit from this mid review! Will post some pictures of our house at the end of it all! 😄
